  1. Wow, this sounds like a great place. The pace in the world is so intense, so I think we would all need a place like this.
One thing I love is coffee, it would be fantastic to try out the Maui Coffee. If I ever go to Hawaii, I promise to visit this center. Thanks for sharing this post!

  2. Sherry, the way you describe Nalani in itself brings peace to the soul. I’d love to be able to visit, and to take part in one of the meditative activities there. I shall definitely keep Nalani in mind, should I ever decide to cross the oceans ( either direction) to visit Hawaii.
Thank you for your wonderful post!

  3. Sherry, this place sounds fantastic! You have so many things to do and see here. What a great idea for having eco-tours. I would be interested in visiting the next time we are in Hawaii. Just mention whales, and I am there!

  4. One of the most beautiful, relaxing, and spiritual places I have had the pleasure of visiting. Sherry, your vision and hard work has transpired into an amazing retreat!

  5. Hi Sherry,

As a catering manager, I would die to have a venue like the Barn. It’s just gorgeous. And I love the open air concept. Where I live in Canada, it just wouldn’t be feasible for it would only be Open air for a few months then that ‘winter’ thing hits us.

Nalani sounds like a beautiful location, and combined with a working coffee farm seems like a great, and educational retreat.

We are fortunate enough to have experienced this amazing sacred space more than once. You awake to the dawn chorus of tropical birds and are lulled to sleep by the sighing of the trade winds through the palm trees.
The ohana is luxuriously appointed with every comfort that you would need. The vistas of the sea on one side and the rolling fields of coffee on the other soothe the soul and bring respite. The world famous beaches of Kaanapali are a few minutes away if a more strenuous day is desired.
Sherry, you have created a beautiful and most unique space and we thank you for sharing it with us.

Sherry, this healing place you’ve so lovingly built is beyond words. The word “place” doesn’t do Nalani Estates justice—it is truly a spiritual retreat and an oasis for healing. Ron and I arrived at Nalani seeking both physical and spiritual renewal and left with more than we could have imagined. From the house’s perfect setting on the coffee farm and overlooking the ocean, we were greeted daily with a chorus of birds and geckos as we enjoyed the amazing pool, hot tub and the lanai, which feels like the home’s heart center. Our daughter joined us from Oahu and led us in yoga and meditation in the glorious, open barn. We were blessed to be there during peak whale season and thrilled that we could watch their antics without even leaving “home”—they performed for us in droves! In fact, we found ourselves barely wanting to leave our “little slice of heaven” to explore all that Maui has to offer. We did have amazing adventures on the island, thanks in large part to your amazing concierge and friend, Candice, but we were always eager to return “home”, where we planted ourselves firmly for our last 3 days! Our spirits are renewed and our souls filled as we return to life on the mainland. Your beautiful intentions in creating this magical space were fully realized, and then some. Love and mahalo, Sherry!
